Fairy tale do come true. After going
public about their relationship in mid 2017, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
officially announced their engagement at Kensington Palace on November 27.
The
whole world was prepared to have another royal wedding, following the rumors
that Prince Harry will soon proposed to his one year girlfriend, American
actress, Meghan Markle.
Sitting
down for the first time in a joint television interview with BBC News, the
couple talk about how the proposal happened.
“It
was a cozy night. We were just roasting chicken and it was just an amazing
surprise and so sweet and natural and very romantic. He got on one knee,”
explain Markle regarding Your Royal Highness proposal which takes place at
their Kensington Palace cottage.
The friends
and family of both also has something to say about the happy engagement news.
“I’m
very thrilled. They’ll be very happy indeed,” said Prince Harry’s father,
Prince Charles.
The
Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also said in a statement that they were “very
excited for Harry and Meghan”.
Patrick
J. Adams, co-stars of Meghan Markle, express his joy and excitement through a
post in twitter.
“Playing
Meghan’s television partner for the better part of a decade uniquely qualifies
me to say this: Your Royal Highness, you are a lucky man and I know your long
life together will be joyful, productive and hilarious.
So
happy for you, friend. Much love”.
Markle
who is best known as Rachel Zane in the hit US TV series ‘Suits’, is officially
leaving the show after 7 season as she confirmed to giving up her acting
career.
“I've
been working on my show for seven years, so we were very, very fortunate to be
able to have that sort of longevity on a series, …... ‘I have ticked this box'
and I feel really proud of the work I've done there and now it's time to work
as a team with Harry”.
The
Royal Wedding will take place in May 2018 at St. George's Chapel, Windsor
Castle.
